Varla Scooter

This is my first foray into the e scooter world. I am very impressed so far with my V2. The front and rear suspension handles bumps in the road very well. There are different speed settings so you can limit the top speed until you feel comfortable. Range seems to be about what is advertised. The headlight provides more than enough light during night time riding. I have also done a few upgrades to it. The bag is pretty nice. It holds quite a bit, has pocket separations, and zips open/closed well. The Velcro hook and loop does a good job of keeping it from flopping around and moving during rides. The wider deck is awesome! It feels much more stable to me with the extra foot space. I am currently waiting on the extension bar I ordered, which I will be moving my bag to. The water bottle holder holds well during rides. It has an adjustable twist fastener that allows some movement for larger/ smaller bottles. I purchased the bottle at the same time. I believe it is aluminum? The top is very nice, and the drink spout seats firmly so no worries with it popping open during rides. Next upgrade will be to get a second charger to cut the charging time in half.

Ok, when I started shopping for an e-scooter, Varla was just introducing the Eagle One V2.0. It was new and mostly unknown, but based on a bunch of research, I knew this was the scooter for me. So I rolled the dice and placed a pre-order before there were available. I waited over two months to get my scooter, which was a bummer, BUT it came today and I LOVE IT!

I've never ridden an e-scooter before, so I have absolutely no basis for comparison. But even though I've barely scratched the surface performance-wise, I immediately fell in love with this thing! It's very well engineered and the build quality is great. It's amazing and so much fun!

My only gripe so far is the throttle is quite sensitive over a small range with either side being essentially unresponsive dead zones. It would be good if the throttle response was more evenly distributed across its full range.

I'll have to grow into it as a novice scooter rider, but it's not outside my grasp. I've already tweaked the setup of cockpit and will do some more over time, but that's something everyone should do.

The Varla customer service folks were also very helpful when the delivery was delayed, so kudos to them.

It was worth the wait and I'm thrilled with my scooter. I can't wait to explore it more and go exploring one it. I bought it to take camping so who knows where we'll go! Thanks Varla!

An amazing scooter with great customer service! This is now my second Varla scooter and I continue to be impressed with the quality and service this company provides.

I love the scooter! this is my first scooter. I had to buy one after getting one of those rentals. I drive semi trucks all around the country and thought it would be a fun activity or way to get to the store etc, when I'm off duty. I wanted to get a bigger one, but this is about as big as I wanted to get and be able to put it in the back of my truck. I've been storing it on my top bunk in the back of my truck. it goes 28 mph, and I've gotten at least 20 miles of range, driving with both motors as fast as it will go. I'm scared to test it exactly how far it goes. I am 6'1 and 220 lb it goes up hills great and has enough power to get me around. I wish all of these scooters were longer, and wider. but this one is about as long as they get. it could be a little wider but, other than that it's very comfortable. I'm really glad I went ahead and bought one! the quality of this is great it's very solid aluminum, and have had no problems with it s reliability. I highly recommend the scooter especially for people who travel!

Wow, pegasus is very stable and sturdy, I feel safe riding it and it is actually very fast. The battery life is long enough and I really enjoy my evenings riding it, really fun.

Love mine. It is super durable, I have 400+ miles on mine and have only have replaced the front rotor due to bending, but then again I use this scooter to ride on extreme terrains it was not intended for so under normal use this should not be a problem. Also with a simple upgraded front clamp on the pole to prevent any squeaks this scooter is one of the best.

I love it! I chose it because I live in an area with lots of hills, bumpy bike lanes with construction, and it glides through all of it with ease. The Eagle PRO is actually what I commute to work on and it definitely gets attention! Does great in light rain conditions per the manufacturer and the deck doesn't get slippery. The headlight and taillight are very bright but I also ordered the additional headlight for safety reasons. This won't disappoint at all. It's very sturdy! If you have trouble lifting something heavy or bulky really think about this purchase. I was slightly awkward with it at first, but got the hang of it after a while, that's not a complaint by any means just know it's heavy (90 lbs) but worth it. It also goes extremely fast quickly which is great for a number of reasons, but use it with extra caution in a city setting. I would definitely recommend this to someone in any setting where you can enjoy all it has to offer safely. It's fast, it's fun, it will absolutely get you noticed, and it's built to last.

I can get 40 mph on eagle one, it's fast so I can go across large fields at max speed. Only problem is I think I need off-road tires because I don't want to get a flat again.

Did a few weeks of research and watched a lot of review videos. Bought Eagle one mainly for the mileage, for the speed, for the comfort, for the wide deck, and for the styling. My first escooter. Just take your time to learn it, and you should be fine. Wear your full face helmet and pads.

I have a couple of different scooters, mostly used for fun, but the ...eal...reason for purchase is to have transport after a plane trip. The Varla excels at this mission. Great speed if desired, and very capable on hills and inclines. The suspension makes the scooter a pleasure to ride. On Eco mode, I have seen 30 miles easily in real world situations including hills and lots of stop and go. The scooter rack was a weekend project that may interest someone. The scooters are held in by padded aluminum caps, with stainless lockable closures. It makes for a fun ride to the ride in my case. The scooter fits easily in the back seat of a light plane for the ability to travel at the destination. The price is not negligible, but if you compare this scooter to others on the market, it really is a bargain.

I love my eagle one pro! I've only had it a couple weeks so far, but it has been a blast riding! I bought this wanting an adrenaline rush, and it meets those requirements for sure. Please wear a helmet!

I am having more fun finding after market parts and customizing than actually riding past cars doing 35 MPH.

My recent upgrade... replaced the tubes in my tires and added spikes... handles the ice and snow like a snowmobile. You can hear me laughing from half a mile away!!

This thing is Grrrrreat! It's scary fast, rides long distances, (went 20 miles on smooth flat surface and Battery was at 72 %). I am 190 pound guy, and this thing scoots. Uphill it still reaches 40 mph. Lots of power, long range, and man it's cool.

Wow! This is a superbly built machine! The speed, the acceleration, build quality. Completely blown away with the Eagle One Pro. I got the red hydraulic brakes and they are also pretty impressive. Also takes most bumps like a champ. Only wish is that it had more compatible accessories. Trunk, turn signals, etc.

Varla Pegasus Commuter City scooter is nothing but a beast. It maybe the slowest of the models but with the range it has for its battery life is amazing. I bought this scooter to get to work and to my Grandmas but to also try to save money on gas.

If you look at the price and say it cost too much, Id rather pay more knowing it will last. The tires you wont have to worry about popping due to the tire itself being thick. The scooter will go over just about anything not one problem going over train tracks.

All in all I give Varla a 5 of 5 due to the quality of work put into the scooter.
