This scooter has actually improved the quality of my life. The customer service is second to none. Varla is cutting edge when it comes to commuter and high performance scooters. Thanks

I have several scooter including HiBoy, Apollo and Segway. They are okay but the Varla Pegasus puts them all to shame in most departments. I only have 10 miles on it but it is the smoothest ride by far. It also has solid tires which is huge. I spent nearly 12 hours trying to fix a flat on my HiBoy Titan Pro which is a beast but got a flat within 1 month of owning it. But that is another review. The Varla Pegasus so far is top notch in quality and performance. It takes a little getting used to because of the wide tires so you have to adapt to them. The one drawback I did find though was the kickstand is a little shorter than I would like and the scooter leans quite a bit and I’m afraid it will fall over so I put something under the kickstand to elevate a little more so it doesn’t fall over and break. Solid scooter but it is heavy in case you want to carry it around, probably wouldn’t advise that.

First of all this scooter has plenty of power on tap, it really rips! I live in a hilly part of Colorado and it zips up all of them. Have over 50 miles on it with no problems. I’ve only changed the hand grips (stock grips move to easily) and adding a light on the handle bar (the stock one doesn’s light the road up real well) these 2 upgrades would be my only suggestions.

I just got my Pegasus from FedEx today, and the first run was amazing! This thing FLIES. It feels like it’s a great build quality. I’ll have to play around with the brake cables a bit to find my preferred pressure, but I think that won’t be difficult with the tool. I can’t wait to ride this through the streets of Minneapolis!

I really like this scooter for commuting, powerful enough to give you the speed when you need it and portable enough to carry into bus/rail and office. It’s integrated design and LCD display are nice additions. I’m sure it will also be a blast to ride, anything over 20 mph is sufficiently exhilarating.

I have contacted other scooter companies in the past about making this exact kind of scooter. My request fell on deaf ears. I said the first company that creates a reliable scooter that can go around 28-30 miles in range & 28-30 miles in speed and has solid tires(no flats) and costs about $1,000 will be fulfilling a market that other companies are simply ignoring. This scooter looks like its hitting all my desires and the wants of people who want a commuter scooter that is reliable above all else and has the capacity to go fast enough to keep up with traffic. I’m too damn old to be walking ten miles home because of a flat. I also don’t want to go through the nightmare of constantly changing tires. I’m giving this thing 5 stars for simply creating something that I so desired. We will see in time how great it truly is.
